Membership of the IIT Alumni Council is now open under various categories for individuals and corporates - both for IIT Alumni as well as alumni of peer institutions.

IIT Alumni Council

IIT Alumni Council is now the largest global body of alumni across all the twenty-three IITs and partnering Universities. With over 40,000 registered volunteers and access to a philanthropic corpus of over Rs 20,000 crores, it is now important that we regularise the various tiers of membership and empanelment to enable capacity building and institutional strengthening. We have now issued guidelines for the on-boarding of volunteers and other categories of members. We are also initiating verification of all onboarded volunteers and upgradation to different categories depending on their level of engagement with and contribution to the Council. The existing members are now being allocated to mission organisations of their interest so enable appropriate grouping for various initiatives.”
